I’m disabled - am I eligible for a tax reduction?

You may be, depending on your circumstances. Minnesota law gives some property tax relief to qualified blind and disabled persons, and under a separate program, to disabled veterans. The Cass County Assessor’s Office can assist you in determining if you are eligible and with the application process. See the Minnesota Department of Revenue’s fact sheet for more information about the market value exclusion on homestead property of qualifying disabled veterans.
