Cass County Health & Human Services together with Cass County Emergency Management coordinate and implement emergency plans for disasters and crisis situations within the county. We work with city, county, local regional and state organizations as well as public, private and non-profit entities to ensure the safety and security of all citizens and the availability of emergency resources for all.
The Cass County Medical Reserve Corp (MRC) is a local unit whose function is to provide medical, public and mental health support services during emergencies. MRC is seeking volunteers to assist in preparing for and responding to public health emergencies. Veterinary, medical, and mental health professionals, as well as doctors, nurses, pharmacists, chaplains, social workers, and morticians are needed.
