The All-Terrain Vehicle (ATV) Search and Rescue Team is a nonprofit consisting of two dozen members of the Woodtick Wheelers ATV Club and the Over The Hills Gang ATV Club who volunteer their time, machines, equipment, and expertise in assisting the Sheriff's Office in providing crowd monitoring and security for county events (such as fairs, local community events and concerts), searching for missing persons, and assisting in other investigations. These individuals train together on a regular basis to ensure their services are effective.
The Sheriff's Office had an informal Chaplaincy program in previous years; in November 2006, a formal Chaplaincy Initiative was formed. The Cass County Sheriff's Office Chaplaincy Initiative began in 2006 with a core group of dedicated clergy members and law enforcement personnel from all areas of Cass County.
The Lakes Area Dive Team is a non profit volunteer public safety dive team providing emergency dive rescue and recovery services to Beltrami, Cass, and Hubbard Counties.
Sheriffs Mounted Posse of Cass County is a non profit consisting of approximately 20 workers who volunteer their time, horses, equipment, and expertise in providing security for county events, such as fairs, searching for missing persons, and assisting in other investigations. These individuals train together on a regular basis to ensure their services are effective.
TRIAD is a community-based partnership between law enforcement, senior citizens and community/senior organizations focused on the goal of senior safety. The goal of TRIAD is to reduce criminal victimization of senior citizens and enhance senior safety by bringing together community agencies to form a relationship of trust with the senior citizens, enabling them to jointly recognize and solve problems.
