Administration
The Administration Division handles all civil process, accounts payable and receivable, personnel issues, budgeting, grants, and day to day operations of the office.

Civil Process
The primary responsibility of the Civil Process unit is to ensure all processes of service are done in a timely and respectful manner.

Detention Center / Jail
The Cass County Jail is currently a 60-bed facility and is running above maximum capacity.

Dispatch & Communications
The Cass County Communications Center does all dispatching for law enforcement (except for the Leech Lake Department of Public Safety, Tribal Police) including Police Departments, Fire Departments, Medical Ambulances, and First Responders.

Investigations
The Sheriff's Office is currently staffed with three Investigators, who conduct follow-up investigations and generally handle the serious and complex investigations.

Patrol
The patrol function is supplemented by the ERU (Emergency Response Unit) team, a K-9 Officer and a School Resource Officer with the Cass Lake-Bena School District.

Records
The Records Division maintains all the initial, investigative, and criminal files for the Sheriff's Office.

The Recreation Division is responsible for monitoring the many acres of water and recreational are in Cass County.
