Overview

The Bi-County Community Action Programs (Bi-CAP), Inc. is a private non-profit corporation designed to serve low-income families and individuals through programs and services. The Board of Directors meets bi-monthly to set goals, priorities, review and approve grant applications, and evaluate agency operations. Members receive a mileage, childcare, and phone expenses reimbursement established by Bi-County CAP. Currently, Cass County has two citizens and one County Commissioner on the Board of Directors.

For more information visit the Bi-CAP website.

Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Food Shelf Board

The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA) Food Shelf Board works to distribute emergency FEMA funds to area agencies such as food shelves. FEMA Board members only get mileage reimbursement as this is a different Board than Bi-CAP's Board of Directors.
